SUAD welcomes the Emirates Community Symphony Orchestra (ECSO) on the occasion of their 10th anniversary. Composed of many talented residents of the UAE, the ECSO is managed by Stéphane Ferrault and conducted by Jonathan Grover. Since its inception, the Orchestra has grown to become a major player of Dubai’s classical music life. Counting over 125 musicians from 35 countries, the orchestra performs several times a year with a repertoire spanning from the Baroque period to the Classical and Romantic periods. On the occasion of its 10th Anniversary concert, the orchestra will perform pieces by Dukas, Elgar, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky and the beautiful Chopin piano concerto No1 with pianist Jelena Matvejevskaja as a soloist.
